Job summary

UK Independent Medical (UKIM) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Technician to support health surveillance and wellbeing initiatives across Luton and Barnet areas. The role involves regular client-site travel and occasional use of the Mobile Screening Unit.

Applicants should have OH technician experience, GCSE/O-Level education, and strong communication, IT, and customer-service skills. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O-Level education or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good IT and administrative capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health surveillance activities (audiometry, spirometry, vision screening).
• Undertake HAVS Tier 1/2 assessments and wellbeing checks.
• Maintain accurate occupational health records and ensure equipment calibration.
• Travel regularly to client sites and operate from Mobile Screening Unit as needed.
• Escalate abnormal findings and support health risk management.
