Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for Logistics/Transport/Freight Forwarding. This field-based role covers the UK and Europe, with a home-based schedule when not visiting clients and a responsibility to build new business relationships.

You will generate opportunities, meet clients, manage key accounts, and keep CRM up to date while travelling as needed to win new business across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport or freight forwarding.
• Proven track record of winning new business.
• Willing to travel UK & Europe.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking and self-sourced leads.
• Book and attend meetings with prospective clients.
• Identify, pitch and secure UK & European full and part load opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships and manage existing accounts when needed.
• Maintain CRM updates and manage the sales pipeline.
• Travel across the UK with occasional European trips; work from home when not visiting clients.
