Job summary

Pioneering People seeks an Electronics Repair Engineer based near Manchester to service and repair state-of-the-art elevator electronics. You will work from a home base within about 20 miles of Manchester and travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in electronics engineering.
• Experience in repair of motor drives and basic setup for testing after repair.
• Ability to diagnose complex problems to component level.
• Experience with electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Possess a recognised qualification in electronics engineering.
• Reverse engineer electronic circuits where diagrams are unavailable.
• Diagnose complex problems to component level and select testing methods.
• Replace faulty components to a high finish and test equipment for correct operation.
• Record repair details in the in-house system.
• Adhere to Health & Safety controls and work in a cooperative team.
