Job summary

Technical Partners is recruiting a Field Based Compex Electrician to join a nationwide team delivering inspection, installation, maintenance and commissioning across hazardous area environments in the UK.

The role requires CompEx EX01-04, 18th edition and 2391/4/5, with 53.5 hours per week and a minimum of 3 nights away. You will travel to operational sites across the UK and work on LNG/oil & gas projects with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have CompEx EX01-04 certification and 2391/4/5 testing qualifications.
• Experience in hazardous area environments and electrical inspection/testing.
• Strong understanding of BS7671 and 18th edition regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and maintain electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
• Install, terminate and commission hazardous area electrical systems.
• Perform electrical fault-finding on LV power, control and instrumentation circuits.
• Support commissioning activities for electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Travel to sites across the UK as required.
