Zusammenfassung

Ground Control is seeking an experienced Arboricultural Surveyor to join our growing Arboriculture team, supporting infrastructure, utility, development and environmental projects across the UK.

This outdoor, field-based role offers autonomy to manage surveys, with support from expert consultants and a diverse project portfolio. A relevant Arboriculture qualification and BS5837 knowledge are required. Flexible UK location with travel and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifikationen

• Experience undertaking arboricultural surveys and inspections.
• Knowledge of BS5837:2012 surveys and tree assessment principles.
• Strong tree identification skills and understanding of defects, diseases and disorders.
• Experience using digital survey systems and specialist surveying software.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work on active sites with safety focus.

Aufgaben

• Undertake BS5837:2012 tree surveys for planning, development and construction projects.
• Carry out Visual Tree Assessments and tree condition surveys.
• Collect and record accurate tree data using digital surveying equipment and software.
• Identify tree species and assess site constraints for reliable survey information.
• Perform measurements including height, diameter, crown spread, rooting constraints.
• Support advanced investigations and decay detection surveys as needed.
• Assist with tree protection monitoring and site inspections during construction.
• Collaborate with consultants, project teams and clients to deliver survey information professionally.
• Contribute to diverse projects across infrastructure, utilities and environment.
• Maintain high health and safety, quality and professionalism in surveying.
