Brook Street is seeking a Training Instructor to deliver accredited programmes across a designated region from Derby, with regular travel.

The role involves delivering First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid, AED, Mental Health Awareness, and IOSH, assessing learning and ensuring standards across sessions.

A confident, engaging trainer with strong communication and organisational skills is required, with a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and assessing accredited training courses to required standards.
• Delivering courses including First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid, AED, Mental Health Awareness, IOSH.
• Preparing training venues and ensuring equipment and materials are fit for purpose.
• Conducting risk assessments before and during training sessions.
• Creating an engaging, professional learning environment.
• Completing and submitting course documentation and assessment records.
• Maintaining equipment and resources and ensuring storage is correct.
• Promoting training services and maintaining relationships with customers.
• Working with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain high training standards.
• Supporting development and delivery of new training initiatives.
• Acting as a designated First Aider.
• Complying with health and safety and organisational policies.
