Job summary

Apex Acoustics Ltd is seeking an Acoustic & Airtightness Testing Technician to join our award-winning, employee-owned testing team. This field-based role involves setting up and calibrating precision equipment for Sound Insulation (Part E) and Air Permeability (Part L) tests across the UK.

You will travel nationally, work in occupied properties with professionalism, record data accurately, and contribute to clear, technical reporting while maintaining high standards of safety and customer

Qualifications

• Professional, hands-on technical mindset with calibration experience.
• Ability to operate in occupied properties with professionalism.
• Strong written and spoken English for reporting and liaison.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate precision equipment for Part E and Part L tests.
• Identify causes of test anomalies through data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Work on site in occupied homes/offices with professionalism and respect.
• Record data accurately and prepare technical reports when required.
• Flexibility to work evening or weekends as site conditions demand.
