Marcus Donald People Limited seeks an E-FICC Technical Operations professional to join the global trading technology team supporting Fixed Income trading and risk platforms. The role requires building from the ground up, identifying issues and advising on fixes, while operating in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Tech Ops within a banking or financial institution.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux, SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, Shell, or Perl).
• Understanding of trade life cycle, market data flows, and risk management processes.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Splunk, AppDynamics).
• Strong communication skills interfacing with trading desks, analysts and developers.
• Understanding of FICC e-trading ecosystem components (Bloomberg, Broadway, MarketAxess, Tradeweb).
• Knowledge of financial markets and technology is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Provide end-to-end production support for Fixed Income trading platforms (Rates, Credit, FX, Bonds, Derivatives).
• Monitor system health for high availability and low latency of trading apps.
• Enhance monitoring using tools like ITRS Geneos and expand across asset classes.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve real-time production issues with traders and infra teams.
• Own lifecycle of proprietary systems and vendor applications including releases and upgrades.
• Support release management, change control and environment management processes.
