Job summary

Leading Edge Aviation in Oxford is seeking an FIC approved Flight Instructor to train and develop our team of instructors in the UK and Spain, delivering training toward FCL900 certificates and supporting standardisation. The role is full-time at the Oxford Academy with some travel to Spain. Applicants should hold UK CAA and EASA licences and be Multi-Engine qualified; applications from those not meeting all criteria are welcome.

Qualifications

• FIC/FII approval and UK CAA/EASA licences are required; multi-engine qualification preferred.
• Must maintain licences, ratings and medical per company and aviation authority regulations.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills; ability to work shifts as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist with standardisation training for all incoming Flight Instructors.
• Deliver training for initial issue of a flight instructor certificate and upgrades (including instrument, night and multi-engine ratings).
• Deliver training towards the issue of FCL00 certificates.
• Monitor aircraft and simulators for airworthiness and safety; ensure compliance with SOPs.
