The Installation and Test Engineer forms part of a team responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of an array of fibre telecoms systems and equipment for major clients including Network Rail Route Service and Capital Delivery, Network Rail High Speed, Transport for London, Merseytravel and other agencies such as Train Operators, Councils and Passenger Transport Executives; the test and installation engineer will be assigned to perform installation and test activities assigned by the Lead Installation and Test Engineer or PICOT.
The ADComms Installation and Test Engineer with instruction from the Lead Installation and Test Engineer or PICOT will carry out implementation, and test activities for validation and final commissioning of the projects in the ADComms portfolio to achieve the company programme for project delivery of Telecoms equipment – both trackside and train borne – ensuring compliance with Telecoms testing and commissioning standards and procedures.
