Job summary

Wildanet is seeking a Build Coordinator to oversee on-site delivery of its full fibre network across Cornwall, including Liskeard. The role ensures safety, quality and adherence to project plans, coordinating engineers and build partners to meet milestones.

The Build Coordinator will monitor civils and fibre construction activities, provide escalation support, and help resolve issues in real time to deliver projects within budget and to high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months + experience in fibre build
• Civils, cabling and network activation experience
• Knowledge of Local Authorities road-works codes of practice (desirable)
• First Aid trained (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Safety: ensure own safety and safety of colleagues and contractors, conduct site audits and escalate unsafe practises
• Quality and Cost: ensure work on site meets standards and has necessary documentation for first-time installs
• Governance and Fluidity: coordinate with Local Authority, Streetworks, Build Partners and update delivery reports
• Stakeholder: liaison with the public and build partners, represent Wildanet at site meetings
• Support: assist internal teams, handle escalations and participate in projects
• Additional responsibilities: advise on soft digs, civils avoidance, cabling, splicing and safety activities
