Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Festive Retail Associate in Plymouth to support our busy peak Christmas period. The role is 25 hours per week with 9:00am starts and requires access to a vehicle.

You will merchandise, set up promotions, and assist guests across stores in your zone, with training and progression opportunities. Hourly pay is £12.71, with benefits including a pension, life cover, and staff jewellery discounts.

This temporary position runs until 26 December 2026; start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required.
• Sales and/or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with up to date OS

Responsibilities

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines.
• Putting out deliveries of new stock.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Setting up promotional activities.
• Working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Job description

Role Title - Festive Retail Associate - Plymouth - 25 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Monday, 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday, 5 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Festive Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Plymouth but may be required to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.
