Job summary

The IVF Guide, on behalf of a well-established fertility clinic in the South East London area, is seeking an experienced Fertility Nurse to join their clinical team. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care across the full treatment pathway, from initial consultation to pregnancy confirmation, within a multidisciplinary team.

You will carry out scans, administer medications, support patients emotionally, and help ensure compliance with HFEA and CQC standards.

Qualifications

• NMC registered with an up-to-date PIN.
• Experience working in a UK fertility clinic.
• Competence performing transvaginal follicle tracking scans.

Responsibilities

• Carry out transvaginal follicle tracking scans to monitor ovarian response and endometrial development.
• Review and interpret scan and bloodwork results, escalating to the consultant team as needed.
• Administer fertility medications and teach clients to self-administer injections.
• Support clients through monitoring appointments and explain next steps clearly.
• Assist with procedures such as egg collection, embryo transfer and IUI.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and liaise with embryologists and consultants.
• Provide emotional support and practical guidance throughout treatment.
• Contribute to clinic compliance with standards.
