Job description

Have you ever dreamt about playing an instrumental role in helping patients complete their families? Are you passionate about women's health and would like to help patients address their fertility issues? If so, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse or midwife to join our dynamic team of reproductive health professionals in delivering 5-star personalised care and support for patients undergoing fertility treatment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding individuals and couples through their fertility journey with expertise and empathy.

Responsibilities
  • Fundamental role in patient care, providing education, emotional support and clinical assistance throughout fertility treatment process.
  • Assist in diagnostic procedures, treatment planning, patient assessments, administering medications, coordinating treatment schedules and offering empathetic counselling.
  • Carry out nurse consultations, telephone calls, consultations and reviews of scans.
  • Ensure efficient communication and relationship building with patients, families and staff across the organisation.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care through appropriate frameworks, including safe effective arrangements for discharge.
  • Complete the comprehensive training for sedation to perform the role of Nurse Sedationist once trained; responsible for admitting, recovery and discharge patients for procedures within a fertility setting.
  • Co‑ordinate and support other members of the caring team who may be responsible for implementing specific aspects of nursing care.
