Who You'll Be Supporting

At Unicare, we provide 24/7 supported living for adults aged 18-64 who have:

  • Autism and learning disabilities
  • Complex trauma and mental health challenges
  • Behaviours that challenge
  • High support needs with personal care, daily living, and emotional regulation

Each resident requires consistent, structured, and person-centred support to thrive in a safe and respectful environment.

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 personal care, emotional support, and life skills coaching
  • Support individuals with hygiene, nutrition, medication, and managing routines
  • Accompany residents to appointments, community activities, education, and volunteering
  • Promote independence while ensuring safety and safeguarding at all times
  • Help manage risks including self-neglect, emotional distress, and social vulnerability

  • Kind, calm, and resilient individuals with a heart for care
  • Experience supporting people with autism, LD, or mental health needs (desirable)
  • Willingness to train in:
  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Trauma-Informed Practice
  • Safeguarding & lone working protocols
  • Medication & daily living support
