Job Role: Female Support Worker

Location: Winsford

Salary: £12.60 - £13.30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Shifts: Full Time – staff required to provide at least one sleep‑in per week.

We require a female support worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we support, making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

About Us

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Winsford provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries.

Joining our team in Winsford will be fulfilling and rewarding, offering stability with the opportunity to grow and develop your career further. Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as Support Workers; through ongoing training and coaching they have continued to progress up the career ladder.

Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health‑care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
  • Encouraging and motivating individuals to participate in community and everyday activities.
  • Promoting independence while offering reassurance and support.
  • Working as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.
  • We will provide full training and ongoing support to ensure you are equipped to succeed in your role.
