Job description
Overview

I am an independent young woman with Cerebral Palsy and Physical Disabilities, and I’m looking for a Female Support Worker to support me with my daily living. I love spending time with my family, especially my nephew. I enjoy watching TV shows and films at home.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care support, including being present during baths and assisting with foot care, socks and shoes.
  • Assist with housework, shopping and cooking meals for me, or accompany me when I go out to eat.
  • Support me to participate in activities and help me live life to the fullest; adapt to daily variations and be easy to talk to and get along with.
  • Be comfortable working in Hamilton and part of a 10-hour-per-week schedule across three days: Wednesday evening (7pm – 9pm), Thursday 9:30am – 12:30pm, and Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm, with some flexibility; hourly rate £12.60.
  • Use initiative when needed and have a driving licence with access to your own vehicle to assist with transport (mileage allowance paid).
