At Dimensions, we believe everyone deserves the chance to live a great life – and that journey begins with you.

We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly team in Clacton-on-Sea, where you’ll be supporting five wonderful individuals across two supported living homes. No two days are ever the same, and every shift brings new opportunities to make a difference.

In one home, you’ll be supporting three ladies aged between 50 and 70. One has recently moved in, and all share a love of creative and social interests, from baking and painting to music classes and history chats. They enjoy shopping trips, holidays, and spending time with family. You’ll be the only staff member on shift, working 1:1 with each person to support their routines, encourage independence, and help them live life their way. Your role will include medication support, personal care (where needed), and meal preparation.

In the second home, you’ll support a gentleman and a lady in their 70s and 80s. He’s lively and independent, with hobbies ranging from railway club visits and gardening to café trips and monthly massages. Together, they enjoy shopping in Harwich, keeping to familiar routines, and spending time in their garden. You’ll provide support with medication, food preparation, and personal care, helping them continue to enjoy the things they love.

Shift patterns run from 7:00am to 2:30pm and 2:30pm to 10:00pm, with occasional long days (15 hours) and a minimum of one sleep-in per week. You’ll need to be flexible, confident working alone, and comfortable travelling between both homes.

You don’t need previous experience, just the right values. In return, you’ll join a team that genuinely cares. We offer a competitive salary, up to 35 days annual leave, sector-leading training, and a wide range of benefits, from wellbeing support to shopping discounts, a bike-to-work scheme, and a £200 bonus for referring a friend.

You’ll also have access to Aspire, our award-winning career development programme, and be part of a culture that promotes from within.
