Job summary

Midway Care Group in Tamworth is seeking Female Support Workers - Nights to join our dedicated team, helping people with daily living skills and personal care while building strong relationships with service users and colleagues.

You will work full-time nights, with drivers required and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. We offer funded qualifications and comprehensive training to support your career growth within our expanding services across the Midlands.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring or working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Willingness to work with people in daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Support people in developing and maintaining daily living skills.
• Identify and meet the needs of those we care for.
• Develop and maintain relationships with people, team members and the local community.
• Encourage choices in line with rights of people with learning disabilities.
• Participate in and assist with defined care plans, promoting active involvement in daily living.
• Be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends.
• Assist with daily activities at home and in the local area.
• Provide personal care where needed.
• Demonstrate dignity and ethical standards in care work.
• Support progression into junior, middle, and senior leadership roles.
• Pursue funded qualifications to develop professionally.

• Midway Care Group are an ever-expanding, Supported Living and Residential care provider to Adults with Learning Disabilities, and we have services all across all the Midland and Surrounding counties. We are recruiting for full-time Female Support Workers - Nights. We require drivers with a car for this role.

• All Applicants will be taken through a Telephone Screening Interview with our Talent Resourcing Advisors and a Competency Based Interview with the relevant Locality Manager
• All Candidates will be subject to our Onboarding Checks which include, but not limited to, RTW, Enhanced DBS and reference checks.
• All New Team Members will have a First Day Induction Training held at our Office in Acocks Green, (travel is fully expensed on the day).
