Female Support Worker £12.71 per hour 36 Hours per Week

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in someone's life? We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Female Support Worker to support a lady with learning disabilities in her own home.

This is a permanent, 36-hour-per-week role offering the opportunity to provide person-centred support, helping the lady maintain her independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

About the Role

This position involves a mixture of waking night and day shifts, so flexibility is essential. Your regular waking night shifts will be on Thursdays and Fridays, from 8pm to 8am.

Your remaining 12 hours will be worked as day shifts, either as a full 8am till 8pm shift or split shifts of 8am till 2pm or 2pm till 8pm.

During the summer months, some shifts may extend until 10pm.

The role includes working evenings, weekends and bank holidays, so applicants must be comfortable working a varied rota.

Who this position suits:

This role is for anyone who wants to make a real difference, whatever your age, background, or gender (unless the role is gender specific)

You don't need to have worked in care before if you're kind, patient, and willing to learn, we'll support you every step of the way.

It could suit someone who's helped others in customer service, childcare, hospitality, teaching, or volunteering, or someone simply looking for a more meaningful job.

If you're the type of person who enjoys listening, lending a hand, and helping others live life to the fullest, you'll fit right in here.
