“Working for Dimensions isn’t just a job, it’s a career with growth and real rewards”.

We’re looking for a female Support Worker to join our team supporting four wonderful ladies aged 50 to late 80s in a supported living bungalow. These ladies have complex health needs and require thoughtful, person-centred support. Every day is different, and every day is rewarding.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support with personal care and assist with mobility, all four ladies use wheelchairs, and one individual requires manual handling assistance throughout the day. You’ll also help with meal preparation, menu planning, and follow SALT guidelines to support safe eating. One lady has a rare genetic condition and requires significant medication support, so experience with medication administration is a big plus.

Communication is key: one lady uses sounds instead of words to communicate, and another has complex mental health behaviours. Patience, empathy, and clear communication are essential.

Shifts follow a rolling rota, with advance notice. You’ll work a mix of long and short shifts, including sleep-ins (typically one per week), and every other weekend. For those on a 16-hour contract, shifts are usually 3pm–10pm.

Driving is a part of the role; you’ll be supporting the ladies to and from their hub and other outings such as getting out for coffees, cinema trips, singalongs, baking, and crafting. You must have a manual UK driving licence, but you don’t need your own car. The home is well-connected by bus and train routes, making commuting easy.

Why Dimensions?

Dimensions are proud to be one of the Great Places to Work! Here’s what you’ll enjoy:

  • Competitive pay rate, with uplift for any overtime you choose to work.
  • 30 days paid annual leave, rising to 35 (including public holidays – pro rata).
  • Award-winning career development and genuine opportunities for progression.
  • High Street Discounts – including supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and cinemas.
  • Life Assurance and a Company Pension Scheme.
  • Industry-leading training, including specialist support.
  • Enhanced DBS check paid for by us.
  • Salary Advance Scheme – access up to 50% of earned pay before payday.

Whether you’re experienced or new to care, if you’re bubbly, positive, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
