A Genuine Occupational Requirement applies under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. This role is therefore only open to females, referring to the sex legally assigned at birth.

Please note: Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide day‑to‑day support tailored to the needs of each individual. If you’re compassionate, reliable, and eager to help others, we’d love to hear from you!

This role is perfect for someone with a warm, caring approach and a keen eye for detail—someone who enjoys staying active and is passionate about empowering others to live more independently.

Hours

This role would include a range of shifts between 7 am and 10 pm. You would be required to work alternate weekends and provide sleep‑ins (sleep‑ins come with an additional payment).

  • Maintaining consistent and accurate records regarding care plans, finances, appointments and medication.
  • Following the support plan for each person we support to enable the person to feel comfortable and happy, adapting this as required based on changes in behaviour.
