A dedicated support service is seeking resourceful Support Workers in Liverpool to provide person-centred care to adults on the autism spectrum. This part-time role (28 hours/week) involves supporting individuals in daily living activities and encouraging engagement in community activities. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and experience in managing challenging behaviors. Full training and opportunities for professional development are offered.
We are seeking resourceful Support Workers who are well motivated and are looking to join our friendly dedicated team based within our supported living service in Fazakerley. You will provide person-centred care and support to adults on the autism spectrum – who may also have learning disabilities and complex needs. You will support them in all aspects of everyday life, alongside promoting and encouraging engagement in community activities.
You will have skills in positive communication and engagement, and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will have the required skills and qualities to manage behaviours that challenge the environment and others, and will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.

This role is a part time contract of 28 hours – full time hours are not available.
Car drivers are preferred for this role, but it is not essential.
