About the Role

I am a lady who lives in the beautiful rural setting of Hatton Park. I am looking for a female personal assistant/s to enable me to live independently as possible in my own home. I have a retired assistance dog so you must be confident to work alongside dogs. I need two PAs who will also cover each other's Annual Leave and/or sickness. You will initially work together one day a week so you both become familiar with my role.

Posts & Hours

• Post 1 – 7 hours a week
• Post 2 – 4 hours a week

Responsibilities

• Keep both bathroom and kitchen hygienically clean
• Vacuum and dust
• Ensure that the home is always kept clean and tidy
• Laundry – which may include washing, drying and ironing if required
• Support with bathing/showering when required
• Assist with any toileting needs
• Support with shopping trips, doctors or hospital visits
• Drive me to appointments in my car (if required)
• Walk my working dog when I am unable to
• Take me to occasional netball matches (weekday evening or weekend)
• Attend matches that may include an overnight stay

Essential Requirements

• Work on own initiative
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Have a lively and bubbly personality
• Confident around dogs and able to walk the dog if required
• Ability to undertake normal domestic tasks in my home when required
• Ability to support with my personal care needs
• Physically able to lift the wheelchair in and out of my car and be confident in pushing the wheelchair
• Non‑smoker during working hours
• Full, clean driving licence (required to drive my vehicle)
