Job description

We are looking for thoughtful, caring and inspiring people to join our team of support workers in Fareham. We are looking for support workers on a part time basis (32.5 hours per week).

Full UK Driving Licence is essential as you will be required to drive (Manual & Automatic) Mobility Vehicles

Shift patterns vary and the earliest you will start is 7am and the latest you will finish 10pm (mixture of long days, earlies/mids/late/alternate weekends). We also require all support workers to complete sleep in shifts.

The Role
  • Supporting with everyday task such as cooking, cleaning, laundry
  • Support with managing finances
  • Providing full support with personal care and manual handling
  • Medication administration
  • Supporting out in the community, taking to day centres and health appointments
  • Encouraging them to be as independent as possible

  • Going shopping
  • Going to the cinema
  • Listening to music
  • Going out to coffee shops for a coffee and a gossip
  • Going out for meals
  • Going swimming - this is a priority to the people we support
  • Gardening and bird watching
