Female Support Manager ( Learning Disability service)

Location: Inverness, Highland | Salary: Up to £36,339.97

The Opportunity

Are you a proactive leader ready to drive change and empower individuals and teams?

We are seeking a skilled and values-driven Support Manager to lead and coach our teams in delivering outstanding, person-centred support in the Inverness, Highland area. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the people we support—who believe they can be leaders in society—live fulfilling lives with choice, independence, and control.

This is a permanent, full-time role (39 hours per week).

What You’ll Do

As the Support Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of several teams within a specific area.

  • Lead Teams: Cultivate an inclusive and transparent culture, ensuring robust compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards.
  • Drive Growth: Lead teams to support the professional growth and development of staff.
  • Build Relationships: Establish trusted relationships with people supported, their friends and family, local authorities, central support teams, and healthcare professionals to drive positive outcomes.
What You’ll Bring

We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about quality care and leadership:

  • Qualification: Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification (or SCQF Level 9 in Scotland), or a willingness to work toward it.

Experience:

  • Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
  • Experience leading teams and/or managing service delivery in a regulated care setting.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • Technology: Confidence in using digital systems (e.g., Excel, care planning software).
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally and work across multiple locations.

Desirable: Experience in coaching, mentoring, and managing change.
