Salary: £13.82 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week (24/7 rota)
Holidays: 28 days inclusive of bank holidays

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Wake Night Support Worker to provide practical and emotional care to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, and complex needs. You will be responsible for supervising care delivery, ensuring safety, and supporting service users to lead as ordinary a life as possible. Flexibility is key as shifts include weekends, bank holidays, and potential sleep-ins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day delivery of care and household activities
  • Ensure service users’ welfare, safety, and participation in daily routines
  • Act as case coordinator and update person-centred support plans
  • Participate in recruitment, staff supervision, appraisals, and coaching
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for staff and service users
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, Care Standards, and company policies
About You
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, or challenging behaviour
  • Calm, resilient, and confident working alone or in a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about empowering vulnerable adults and promoting high safeguarding standards
