Overview

We are seeking individuals to provide excellent person-centred care and support to tenants with learning disabilities living within the Whitley Bay area. You will assist and develop the everyday living skills of our service users and support them to enjoy a wide range of activities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate positive and enthusiastic communication skills and work within positive behaviour support guidelines.
• Encourage tenants to live socially inclusive lives and build a trusting, friendly rapport with all service users at our Whitley Bay service.
• Work within local and corporate policies in a dignified manner.
• Be willing to work across other services and with individuals who have a range of support needs.
• Provide warm, motivated, person-centred support to meet individual care plans.

Role Details

This is a Relief Support Worker position which enables you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you, ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities.

You will be paid on a weekly basis and a minimum of twelve months experience is essential for our Relief Support Worker roles.
