Overview

Are you a caring and proactive individual? Are you looking for a rewarding career in the Mental Health sector? This opportunity is for you. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Recovery Support Workers to join our Supported Accommodation services in Wigan. Our staff help deliver positive mental health and housing related support to service users in a personalised way. We want people who will engage with those we care for, and build trusting relationships with them and their wider support networks. We have services in Wigan, Leigh & Atherton and will provide full training and support. We also offer either weekly or monthly pay depending on preference.

Responsibilities
  • As a Recovery Support Worker, visit service users in their own home or within other settings and offer practical and emotional support, including personal care.
  • Encourage service users to live as independently as possible, and work towards this in accordance with their individual support plans.
Qualifications and experience
  • Experience of working in the Care and Mental Health sector is preferred.
  • There are sleep cover and waking night shifts.
  • Full training is provided, and there is an opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
