Join Our Amazing Team of Personal Assistants!Are you someone who can provide care and support to a lady with a spinal cord injury (tetraplegia) to help her live independently? You will be working in her own home in the Burnley area and supporting her with all aspects of clinical and personal care.
The role also includes trips out to recreational events, going to appointments, the shops, preparing meals, and carrying out domestic duties.
We are looking for people to join the team who possess the right values and qualities and understand the importance of person-centred care. Experience in care and support isn’t essential, but attributes like empathy, enthusiasm, a calm approach, a willingness to learn and adapt, reliability, and flexibility in a changing situation are qualities we are looking for.
Once you're trained and have completed an induction period, you'll be able to work independently as part of our experienced and competent team. Your employer will be the person you are providing care and support for.

  • Job 1: 2 x 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday
  • Job 2: 2 x 12-hour shifts per week (varying days)

The rate of pay is £15.62 per hour.

We expect team members to cover each other's holidays and sickness whenever possible.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

You'll receive 5.6 weeks of paid leave per year.

Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check and clearance at the employer's cost.
