I am a retired woman and power chair user seeking two female Personal Assistants to support me in living independently and enhancing my quality of life. I live with a muscle‑wasting condition that can vary in severity and often causes fatigue and pain, so you must be able to adapt to fluctuating health needs.

Therefore, I am looking for individuals who are understanding, adaptable, and compassionate in their approach. Kind, reliable, and respectful of personal boundaries.

Responsibilities
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Light household tasks and meal preparation
  • Accompanying me to appointments, hydrotherapy sessions, and other outings
  • Assisting with day‑to‑day tasks as needed
  • Supporting medication routines; experience desirable (training can be provided if necessary)

A full driving licence and access to a car is preferred but not essential.

There will be minimal weekend work required.

References and a current full DBS check is essential.

Requirements
  • Female personal assistants only, as required by the Health and Social Care Act 2008, Regulation 2014, and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1–4.
