We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic PE Teacher to join our growing PE department. This role includes a focus on the development of girls’ PE and sport participation, ensuring inclusive and engaging lessons for all learners.
Our school is a vibrant, inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school located in the Enfield/Waltham Forest area. We pride ourselves on high standards, a supportive staff culture, and strong community values. Our PE department is well-resourced, with a range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities and excellent extra-curricular provision.
Teach high-quality PE lessons across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Promote and enhance participation in girls’ PE and school sport
Contribute to a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, fixtures and enrichment
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support students’ physical, mental, and social development
Work collaboratively with a talented PE team to drive department success
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply
Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
Ability to inspire students of all abilities
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Passion for promoting equality in sport and encouraging more girls to participate in physical activity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
