Are you a passionate and enthusiastic PE Teacher looking to inspire pupils and promote physical education in a supportive school environment?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a school in Hull. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality PE lessons, encourage pupil participation in sports, and help students develop skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

Role Overview

As a PE Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. You will contribute to extracurricular sports activities, promote teamwork and fitness, and help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across the curriculum.
  • Promote physical activity, health, and wellbeing among pupils.
  • Support and coach pupils in extracurricular sports activities.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Encourage teamwork, personal development, and positive behaviour in PE lessons.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the school’s PE programme.
Requirements
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of PE curriculum and extracurricular sports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for promoting physical education and student wellbeing.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
