Female PE Teacher Specification

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher for a full-time role at a secondary school in the Birmingham area. This position is to start in January 2026 and is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

To be considered, you must have prior experience delivering Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged students (KS3 and KS4), with a proven ability to inspire young learners and promote physical wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.

  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential, KS5 desirable)
  • A passion for promoting sports, physical fitness, and teamwork
  • Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory PE lessons
  • Knowledge of GCSE PE curriculum is advantageous
  • Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can assist with this)
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
