Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a Live-In Care Assistant to join the team across North Tyneside and surrounding areas. You will live with a client, providing companionship, personal care, meal support, and medication help, while ensuring their safety and independence.

The role offers a weekly salary of £900–£1000 (inclusive of food) with a one week on/one week off pattern and options for longer shifts. Applicants must have a valid driving licence and be based in the North East of England.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Ability to commit to living with a client for periods of time.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to the customers needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face and provide companionship.

Requirements
