Overview

Female Live-In Care Assistant

Location: Various Locations within London

Shifts: week-long shifts. Short-term (2 weeks on) and Long-term (5+ weeks on) live-in packages available (2-hour break daily)

Salary: £714 - £756 per week, plus a £40 food allowance (Client Dependant). WIFI and transport costs included. Access to a percentage of earnings in 4 days or less after completing shifts may be available.

Key Responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria
  • Right to Work: Applicants must have unrestricted right to work in the UK (sponsorships are not offered at the moment).
  • Availability: Be able to work full-time hours on either a short-term or long-term package.
  • A minimum of 3 months' prior experience in caring for elderly or dementia clients. Live-in care experience or extensive care experience are highly desirable.
  • The ability to connect professionally and empathetically with elderly or disabled clients, even in challenging situations.
  • An understanding of the needs of elderly individuals, people with Dementia, or disabled adults who are vulnerable within society.
  • Ability to administer medications, provide personal care, and complete administrative tasks, supported by strong knowledge of manual handling practices and health & safety standards ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Ability to help with grocery chopping and meal preparation based on clients' preferences and needs as well as maintaining food hygiene standards.
  • A passion for enabling person-centred care and support.
  • The ability to maintain meticulous records and documentation.
