Job summary

Bluebird Care – Durham North is seeking a compassionate Live-In Care Assistant to support clients across North Tyneside and surrounding areas. You will live with a client on a week-on/week-off pattern, with the option to work longer, providing companionship, daily living support and safety oversight.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence with a reliable vehicle, excellent spoken English, and the right to work in the UK. A full induction and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence with own reliable vehicle.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to the customers needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face and provide companionship.

Requirements
