If you’re outgoing, friendly and passionate about children, you could make a real positive difference as a Senior Support Worker in the Swanton Community Services Children’s Team in Kent.

You’ll be supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and health needs to lead happy, healthy, fun filled lives in their home, at school and in the community. You will be role modelling best practice to other staff and encouraging them to do their very best.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting Children with their daily care – ensuring they are safe, healthy and thriving
  • Encouraging the child’s development – supporting them in every opportunity where they can learn and grow
  • Proactive support – supporting children to engage in play and activities to enhance their quality of life
  • Supporting staff – acting as a mentor to other support workers and supporting the manager

Previous experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities is required. When you join, you’ll receive advanced training from our Training Academy where you’ll learn the specialist skills to deliver high quality support.
