A leading insurance group in Glasgow is seeking a Feature Engineering Pricing Practitioner to analyze and create pricing risk factors. The successful candidate will combine external and in-house data to understand the drivers of claim costs in Home Insurance. With a hybrid working model, colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office. The role requires a degree in a numerate subject and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with relevant experience in SQL and Python being advantageous. Join us as a Feature Engineering Pricing Practitioner in the wider Home Insurance Risk Pricing team. You will be at the heart of creating new and improved Risk factors that allow DLG to fully understand what drives claim costs, across all the Home perils. You’ll be able to combine a wealth of external and in‑house data with industry‑leading technology to explore the underlying trends that add sophistication to our pricing. You’ll be making an impact from start to finish: from data preparation, to model builds, to deployment into live pricing!
Our hybrid model offers a ‘best of both worlds’ approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office. Our Pricing and Underwriting office locations include London, Leeds, Manchester and Bristol.
