Job summary

Travis Perkins plc in Swindon invites energetic graduates to join its Fast Track Management Trainee Programme. Over two years you’ll rotate through core operations, learn stock management and delivery coordination, and begin leading teams under senior managers.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with trade customers, on-counter sales, and commercial deal-making, preparing you to run your own branch in future leadership roles.

Key Details

• Salary: Competitive salary + performance bonus + comprehensive benefits package
• Programme: 2 year structured Management Trainee Programme
• Location: Swindon
• Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:00pm + alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am–12:00pm)
• Requirements: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Experience Required: None. We hire for potential, drive, and attitude, we’ll teach you the rest.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Learn the Core Business: Work across the warehouse, manage stock, and go on the road with delivery teams to understand our full supply chain.
• Build Customer Relationships: Work directly with trade customers, handle sales on the counter, and learn how commercial deals happen.
• Develop Leadership Skills: Shadow experienced Branch Managers to learn financial management, operational safety, and how to lead a high-performing team.
