Job summary

Bright Horizons Cambridge Nurseries is recruiting for an Early Years Apprentice on a fast-track Level 3 programme in Cambridge. You will work with babies and children up to age 5, balancing hands-on nursery practice with weekly learning at the Learning Hub.

The ten-month apprenticeship runs four days a week in nursery and one day at the Learning Hub, with ongoing mentoring to become a qualified Early Years Practitioner. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with children and starting a rewarding career in Early Years.
• Commitment to completing the nine month apprenticeship programme.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Care for babies and children up to age 5, supporting learning, development and wellbeing through play.
• Work four days per week in the nursery and one day per week at the Learning Hub for structured learning toward Level 3.
• Receive ongoing support from experienced staff and apprenticeship specialists.
