Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail. Roles are available across three main shift patterns and include hands-on sorting, unloading mail and parcels, and moving items through a busy warehouse.

No previous experience is required as training is provided. Shifts cover Early, Late and Night windows, with weekend availability often needed to meet operational demand.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.
• No previous experience needed – training provided.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Can push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg.
• Flexible to work across different shift patterns, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Unload mail and parcels.
• Sort items by postcode and move them through the warehouse.
• Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines (some teams sort over a million items in a single shift).
• Handle election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
