Job summary

Angard Staffing is hiring flexible Mail Sorters to support Royal Mail in Northampton. Roles are temporary with shifts across early, late, and night patterns; 4 to 12 hours per shift. You will unload mail and parcels, sort by postcode, and move items through the warehouse.

No previous experience needed; training provided. Pay rates £15.14 per hour on day and late shifts, and £16.44 on night shifts. Weekend work may be required, and positions offer a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Unloading mail and parcels.
• Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse.
• Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines – some teams sort over a million items in a single shift.
• Handling election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
