Job summary

Industrious Recruitment in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a Line Operative to join a busy packing team. You will handle packing on the production line and ensure quality before dispatch, working on a variety of products from bulk packs to retail-ready items.

This hands-on, on-site role requires good attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 3:45pm, with ongoing work in a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, packing or warehouse roles is beneficial but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Pack products on the production line according to spec.
• Carry out quality checks on finished goods.
• Label, re-pack and assemble items when required.

Line Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Line Operative to join a busy and growing production team based in Leighton Buzzard.

This is a hands-on role working on a packing line, where you will be responsible for packing a variety of products, from bulk packs through to retail-ready items, ensuring all products meet quality standards before dispatch.

Duties

• Packing products from a production line
• Carrying out quality checks on finished goods
• Labelling, repacking and assembling products where required
• Ensuring products are packed to customer specifications
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Working efficiently to meet production targets

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:45am - 3:45pm

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous production, packing, warehouse or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time
• Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions
