Job summary

Tesco Head Office in Farringdon, London, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep the building safe, functional and welcoming for customers and colleagues. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems, using hands-on technical skills to resolve issues while prioritising safety and quality.

This fixed-site role requires day-to-day property upkeep, teamwork, and the use of a tablet and Office 365 to access schedules and communicate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, engineering or construction environment.
• Digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
• OPERATIONAL SKILLS: ONC or equivalent qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Office 365 knowledge and basic digital literacy.
• Completion of relevant technical training/upskilling modules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Tesco Head Office London site is a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
• Follow the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fixes and improve efficiency.
• Work closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
• General day-to-day property maintenance.
• Use mobile devices to drive work completion and updates.
• Represent the Tesco brand by upholding core values and wearing Tesco uniform.
• Attend local and national meetings and provide input and feedback.
• Support a diverse and inclusive culture.
