University of Nottingham is advertising a hands-on farm role at Sutton Bonington. The successful candidate will support the Dairy Unit (robot milking) and assist with Sheep, Youngstock, Beef and Arable enterprises across the year.

You will join a young dynamic team and assist primarily in the Dairy Unit (robot milked) but also with the Sheep, Youngstock, Beef and Arable enterprises throughout the year.

The role requires confidence with livestock, ability to operate modern machinery, team working skills and an ability to follow farm procedures.

This post will work a minimum 36.25 hours per week plus regular overtime paid at x 1.5 rate for any hours worked over 36.25 per week and at x 2 rate for bank holidays and university closure days. Hours worked by rota averaging 5 days out of 7 including early mornings, some evenings and regular weekends.
