About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our very own Leckford Estate as a Farm Shop Team leader. The role of the Team Leader is to support Farm Shop & Cafe Leadership teams to deliver operational and service excellence, by engaging, motivating and leading Partners to meet daily operational requirements. This will involve a range of tasks including advising and serving customers, moving and replenishing stock, carrying out housekeeping activities and handling cash and card transactions according to set procedures. Partners may be expected to work in any area of Farm Shop & Cafe to support the wider team as required and to maintain the necessary business dress and hygiene standards. To deliver the best possible service and availability through excellent customer interaction and processes; demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the customer and the business.

  • Salary £12.21 - £13.86

  • Contract type This is a permanent contract

  • Location This role is based at Leckford Estate Farm Shop

39 hours per week including weekends.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure customers are at the centre of all operational decisions, through role modelling outstanding customer service
  • Achieve excellent standards of display, availability and cleanliness
  • Undertake the required due diligence and comply with Branch Operating standards
  • Encourage Partners to improve their knowledge of our brand, our products and the wider business and to share it with customers where appropriate
  • Ensure Partners feel well supported during their shift and understand what is required of them
  • Effective rota management – right people, right place, right time
Essential skills/experience
  • 1-year supervisory experience in a Hospitality or customer facing role

Desirable skills/experience
  • Barista Trained
