Job summary

Harmony at Home Limited in Brimpton, near Newbury/Reading, Berkshire, is seeking a caring Nanny for three energetic boys aged 3, 5 and 7. You will coordinate their daily programmes, help with homework and accompany them to activities.

You'll also handle light household duties including laundry, ironing, tidying bedrooms and bathrooms, and prepare nourishing meals. A car is provided on duty and a driver is required.

Qualifications

• DBS enhanced certificate (on update service) required
• Paediatric First Aid certificate recommended (12 hours)
• 2+ years of nanny or similar child-care experience

Job description

This busy dad is looking for a Nanny for his 3 energetic boys ages 3, 5 and 7 years old in Brimpton near Newbury/ Reading in Berkshire . Mother spends little time at home and Nanny would be responsible for all matters relating to the children’s programmes and school to conclude their homework, taking them to activities/ matches, some school picks up ( a car is available on duty) laundry , ironing , tidying up and cleaning their rooms and bathrooms etc as well as preparing nourishing meals for them.

They are offering an excellent salary of £25 gross an hour and can be flexible with the hours and days but ideally Monday – Friday ( although would consider 3 or 4 days ) , 3pm -7.30/8pm . More hours available if desired in the holidays, again they can be flexible for the right Nanny.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and is looking for a long-term, part-time role with a lovely busy young family.

• Minimum Experience Level for this job: 2+ years in a similar role
• Training and Qualifications needed for this job: Not essential
• Days: Monday to Friday – could also be 4 days a week or 3 days for the right candidate 3:00pm – 7:30/8pm (can be flexible for the right Nanny)
• Salary: £25 gross an hour

• This is a permanent Nanny position.

For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One of your references must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. We also recommend that you have appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance). Whilst we usually undertake all registration interviews and right to work checks in person face to face, we will in certain circumstances consider video call registrations and digital right to work checks via a certified digital identity service provider (IDSP).
