The Role

As the Fan Growth Manager within the Marketing function, you will translate Formula E’s fan growth strategy into integrated, high‑impact campaigns that attract, convert and retain fans. You will own the end‑to‑end fan growth engine, blending creativity, commercial thinking and analytical insight to deliver measurable, audience‑led results across the entire fan journey.

Customer Acquisition and Conversion: Lead the development of first‑party data acquisition campaigns to grow and enrich the fan database, optimise commercial fan journeys across ticketing, content and broadcast to drive conversion and maximise lifetime value, and continuously refine the fan journey from discovery to advocacy.

Go‑to‑Market Planning and Execution: Create go‑to‑market plans that translate strategy into clear, actionable campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels. Manage the creative and media briefing process, ensuring all campaigns are data‑led, insight‑driven and on‑brand, working with regional teams to localise and scale growth initiatives.

Fan Engagement and Community Growth: Develop and deliver initiatives that strengthen community, deepen connection and inspire advocacy among global audiences by partnering with Content, Social and CRM teams to bring fans closer through creative, interactive and participatory experiences.

Data, Insights & Optimisation: Use fan data, behavioural insights and performance analytics to inform strategy, uncover growth opportunities and lead A/B testing and optimisation for fan acquisition and engagement. Partner with CRM and Data teams to refine segmentation and improve targeting precision.

What we’re looking for in you

Experience required: Proven experience in performance marketing, growth or audience development, ideally within sports, entertainment or consumer‑facing industries, with a track record of driving audience growth and conversion through multi‑channel campaigns. Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, analytics tools and the customer journey is essential. Comfortable owning and optimising acquisition strategies across multiple channels and markets.

Skills & Attributes: Commercially minded, growth‑focused, analytical, data‑led, proactive, hands‑on with a creative mindset, and able to influence and inspire across teams and partners.

Personal Qualities: Natural collaborator who thrives in fast‑moving, cross‑functional environments, can prioritise initiatives based on impact, balances strategic focus with delivery under pressure, and is adaptable and resilient.
