A community wellbeing organization in Brighton is seeking volunteers for the role of Wellbeing Walk Facilitator. You'll create transformative experiences by leading families on nature walks and facilitating activities that promote emotional understanding and stronger family connections. Ideal candidates have a minimum of three years' experience working with children and families and a background in relevant fields. This role involves facilitating family-oriented activities focused on promoting mental wellbeing. Successful candidates will possess a minimum of three years of experience working with children and families in relevant fields such as education, social services, counselling, or related disciplines. The ideal volunteer will demonstrate a strong background in nurturing positive mental health outcomes within family environments.

Wellbeing Walk Facilitators will help to lead groups of families on guided nature walks through local green spaces. Primary duties will include:
Wellbeing Walk Facilitators will work closely with the Programme Coordinator, who will attend initial walks with volunteers, provide training, resources, and ongoing support. You will also collaborate with other volunteers to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for families.
We welcome volunteers to bring their unique skills, perspectives, and ideas to enhance the wellbeing walk experience. Although we have planned activities, new ideas and the incorporation of additional activities, exercises, or approaches are encouraged!
This is an in person role which is currently available in both Brighton & Hove.
